We had a number game a few days ago. It's good for 6 year olds and up.

How to prepare the game
1. To make a big Game Table.You need a big piece of paper and draw a 7x7 grid on it. Then on the top row from left to right, randomly write down the numbers 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. These will represent the 'ones' in game. On the far left column randomly list 1 through 6. This represents your 'Tens'.
2. Then randomly draw 3 happy faces and 3 unhappy faces in any of the empty squares on the board.
3. Cut out several small pieces of paper big enough to cover any square in your grid. Cut different colours for as many players. Example: You have 3 players so you cut out squares from pink, brown, and blue pieces of paper. (or any other colours you like).
4. Then make the cards. Make 39 cards. Each card has a number written on it. Each space on the board should have a matching number. The lowest number on the board is 10; so you should write "Ten" on the first card, and then continue through the rest of the spaces. There should be 3 cards left over. On these 3 cards draw a big "X". These are 'skip turn' cards
5. Cut out three small hearts that are big enough to cover any space on the grid.

How to play the number game
1. Each player chooses their own colour squares.
2. Then each prayer draws a number card, the player then needs to read the number written on the card. The player must then take one of their coloured pieces and write the arabic number on it. For example: Amira pulls a "Forty two" from the upside down deck. She says the number and then writes the number"42"on one of her square pink paper. She then puts the small coloured paper on the Game Table. The player looks on the left column and finds the number 4, then find the number 2 on the top row and follows the spaces to where they meet on the grid. The paper should go on this spot.
3.If the number you get is a space with a smiley face, you can first put your number square down and then place the heart shaped card on top of it.
4. If you get a number with an unhappy face, you still have to write the number, but you don't get the points at the end of the game for that space. To remember you can choose to not place the card on that spot, or make up a variation, like folding the paper in half.
5.If you draw an "X"card, your turn is skipped.

How to count the points
1. Each small coloured square is one point.
2. Each heart shaped card is 10 points.

Variation: For older kids the unhappy spaces could be be minus 5 points.

Then you can ask your kids to add the total number up.

The game is not only good for teaching kids how to write numbers, but it can also be good for the family to spend time together.

這堂寫數字練習，需要有學會兩位數，認識個位數跟十位數的小朋友，比較適合玩。
但是不懂的小孩也可以練習玩，只要會寫數字，就可以參與，家長陪同，也可以全家一同玩樂數字。
準備材料：參考來源～玩出數學力
1.一張圖畫紙，分別在畫出七格，上排為個位數，數字請寫填上，0.1.2.3.4.5數字，可以隨宜填寫位置。左邊則是1到6的數字，隨意填寫，當作十位數。
然後在紙上隨意畫上三個不開心臉或其像是骷髏頭圖案之類都可以，另外三個可愛動物圖案，或任何你喜歡正面意義的圖案都可以
2.製作小色卡多張，三個人玩，用三種色卡。另外三張愛心。
3.國字數字卡附上注音，如不需要則不用，另外三張鬼牌可以用X表示。

玩法：
1.先抽出一張國字數字卡，然後請抽到的人寫在自己拿到的小色卡上，用阿拉伯數字寫出來，
如是抽到四十二，就要寫出數字42。但是剛學數字小孩，可能會寫成402
2.然後把寫好的小卡放在對的位置上，這可以教小孩學會分辨個位數跟十位數
3.如果遇到抽到鬼牌時候，就要跳過一次，不能玩
4.如果抽到數字剛好放置在有笑臉，就將寫好的數字數卡放上後，再放上愛心在上面，方便計分。
5.如果是遇到有不開心臉的圖案，則不能算得分
6.計算方式：小卡得一分，愛心得10分，放在不開心臉上的卡片則不計分。
7.請小孩統計分數，計算出得分最高的小孩
