I have not swept the family tomb for years. It's usually the responsibility of the boys in the family, but this year we had a chance to visit my parents and to let the kids to experience what tomb sweeping is. We went to our ancestors' tomb in the early morning.
We started to clean the tomb, like the head stone and the weeds surrounding it.
The kids helped and had fun. Before we went we had a lesson about the "Ching Ming Festival". When the kids get to experience what they learn in books, the feel really excited.

高中畢業後，就到臺北去唸書。就鮮少有機會回家去掃墓，今年剛好有機會讓可以回家一趟掃墓祭祖。回家兩個目的，第一可以讓小孩多接近我父母，讓小孩的台語可以好好運用。第二個目的，就是可以將課程中所教到的清明掃墓，好好體驗一番。清明掃墓這堂課程，有多意思（清明節的由來），清明是中國是二十四節氣其中一個，這個節氣有清新明朗的意思。
小孩這次跟著掃墓，感到十分新鮮有趣，高雄天氣十分炎熱，所以我們大約七點就開始掃墓。雖然早起就去掃墓，小孩跟著拔草，壓墓錢，
跟著大人忙進出忙出的樣子，十分有趣呢！
