We have been talking about plants lately, there are four main parts of a plant - the root, stem, leaf and flower. So I used vegetables (celery and potatoes) and made them into stamps and asked the kids to create some pictures. Through the project, they understood more about the four main parts of a plant.
創作過程中，小孩必須用牛排刀切菜跟雕刻馬鈴薯，這對不常拿刀的他們，卻十分吃力。但是可以藉此機會，教他們使用刀，將來就可以真正利用刀子來料理食物。而用水彩在蔬菜上圖顏色，之後壓在紙上，這真的很好玩，小孩慢慢發現，凹進去的部分是印不出來的，也會發現圖案會以相反的方式呈現。另外彩繪葉子，是小孩最愛，因為葉脈十分漂亮。
因為沒有刻意設計任何主題，所以圖案最後都亂印，不過印壓作畫，對小孩說本身就很著迷，大小孩都能玩得很開心。
