There is one zoo we like to go, the Hsinchu zoo. It is very friendly and open. They don't have a lot of animals and most of them are harmless animals. You can see some birds fly around you or touch the deer's antlers. Some turkeys, peacocks or chickens walk right by you. There is even a monkey that likes to stick its hand though the cage and let you touch him. The kids are happy to get so close these animals.
通常在北部都會去臺北木柵動物園，但是我們發現一個很小的動物園，新竹動物園。
這個動物園不大，有點像是你家後花園，只有一些普通動物，可是這些動物離你很近，有些甚至就在你旁邊走來走去。還有一些鳥會在你頭上飛來飛去，一些公雞、火雞和孔雀就在你面前行走，猴子試著想要跟你握手，峏苗就在離你不到兩三尺的地方，十分有意思。
甚至有時候河馬會上岸，你可以看到全身露出的河馬在吃東西，可以摸到梅花鹿的鹿角，這些全都因為他們的柵欄做得很開放，當然你要十分友善對待他們，不要亂餵食或拍打他們，這樣才能享受親近動物的樂趣喔！
