We made some beautiful snakes tomes.
After that I filmed the children introducing their snake totems. They shared some interesting ideas.
Like Amira, drew some windows, a rainbow, and heart on the snakes body.
I also showed them a short video about Australia's Aboriginal Totems, The children were amazed at their creations.
Later on I asked the kids to do their own totems. Amira used a rabbit as her subject, Corban used different animals as his subject. Later I could see how different their paintings were. And how their art work shows their personalities.
They were doing great. They liked the class.
今天我問小孩想做什麼，Corban說想畫蛇，所以我想到了畫一張蛇的圖騰，我從網路上參考一些創作，請小孩畫出Ｓ形的蛇的樣子，請他們在蛇身上，彩繪出各種鮮豔的圖案跟故事。
接下來採訪他們創作的想法，幫他們錄影起來。之後我請他們觀賞小短片，裡面全都是澳洲原住民的圖騰創作，再請他們依照類似的創作方式在畫出一張他們自己的圖騰。Amira用單一動物兔子來當作主題，Corban則用各類動物展現他的想像力。最近可以發現小孩的創作風格十分迥異，從他們創作上慢慢了解他們的想法。
今天算是滿有意思，雖然都是畫畫，但是他們以前都沒有接觸過原住民圖騰的畫風跟創作，小孩看了影片後感覺還滿驚豔的，而我一向都很喜歡這類風格強烈又明亮的原著民創作，今天又是一個快樂的學習。
全部擠在一起，真是熱鬧！
