母親節快樂！

For all mothers, 

Happy Mother's Day!

This week Pieter was in charge of the activity for family home evening. He wanted the kids to make  mother's day cards for their grandma, great grandmas and great great grandma. The kids had to draw the cards and I took care of the cover for the cards. I traced each kid's hands and cut it out. Each mother got a different child's hands. It would have been too cluttered or too large of a card to mail if we put all the kids hands on the cards. This last Friday we sent them out. Hopefully everyone can receive their cards before Mother's Day.

母親節快到了，本週家人家庭晚會活動輪到我老公來教。他希望每一個人都畫一張卡片送給他的媽媽、外婆、奶奶跟外曾祖母。（老公你怎麼偏心，沒有說要我給媽媽呢?)

除了我跟Benicia沒畫之外，每個人都畫上一張圖。但我負責卡片封面設計，我分別幫小孩的手型剪下了，並貼在封面。每個母親都可以收到其中一個孫子、曾孫子或者曾孫子的手掌愛心。希望她們收到卡片時候可以感受到這份滿滿的愛跟祝福！

We also bent the two middle fingers 

down to match the ASL sign for "love"

 

簽上名字跟標示手掌跟畫圖者的名字

這樣就知道這張卡片出自誰手了
We put the names on each card to let the person who got the card
know who drew the card and who's hand was on the cover
