1.The kids needed to find 100 pieces of small paper. (It's harder for little kids, Corban couldn't finish it by himself).
2. Then ask them to make 10 pieces of papers into one group.
3.Then ask the kids how they think they can group them.
4. Put the 10 groups of papers in a big paper as one unit.
6. There are three different units, 1 unit is just equal to 1 piece of paper. Another unit is made up of 10 pieces of paper and one final unit made up of 100 pieces of papers.
Ask the kids to count how many pieces of papers are in each unit.
This math game took my kids over an hour to finish, for adults it is easy, but for kids it is not at all.
It takes time to make them understand, well we had a good time with this simple game.
最近在教數學部分遇到困難，看似簡單的數學概念，對小孩來說卻十分難以理解。 前些日子，有一位姐妹介紹“玩出數學力”這本書，於是買來看看。希望幫自己的小孩用更簡單輕鬆的方式來教他們數的概念，因為本身不是數學專家，所以就要特別下功夫來準備課程，希望能夠不斷尋找好的教材跟方法來突破教學上的障礙，慶幸網路發達，可以看到很多人的經驗或分享來幫助自己找到答案跟方法。
今天想分享一堂課就是從這本書出來的，“100倒底有多少？”
這堂課花了 一個多小時來完成，看似簡單但是卻十分耗時，書中也提到數數對大人來說十分簡單，但是對剛開始學數學的孩子卻是一件十分困難的事情。的確，教學過程中，因為大人的理解跟小孩並不相同，需要很有耐心跟心思來引導。
課程內容：(參照玩出數學力）
1.先請小孩把100張小紙片找出來。
（數數過程中大小孩可以一張張數完，小一點的小孩會慢慢開始數亂）
2.請小孩10個爲一單位，分成10堆。
3.把10個小紙張貼在圖畫紙上，每10張爲一條。
4.請小孩想想完成了之後，接下來該怎麼做？
5.將10條的小紙張當成一個單位，貼在一個大張紙上。（等於100小紙張在一張大紙上）
6.然後按照“100張小紙張” “10張小紙張” “1張小紙張”的單位順序排列，算算看總共有個小紙張?
