I put an activity on the inside of each cup. Every day a different child has a chance to pull out the piece of paper from the cup for that day. Activities like reading scriptures about Jesus Christ, kissing and hugging each other, talking about what Jesus did for us, singing Christmas carols, watch a Christmas video, play puzzles, or get a candy...etc.
Every night the children are excited to participate in this activity.
I hope that through this activity the children can know what the true meaning of Christmas is, and how important it is to know who Jesus is. Also learn what we can do for him as a birthday gift for him.
I know this Christmas season is important for my family. We can always be thankful for our blessings. We can remember Jesus Christ on other days of the year besides Christmas. We can always remember him and live like him.
"Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.(Matthew 20:40)

今年我決定要製作聖誕節來臨月日曆(我不會翻，所以唸起很不順),往年就是用現有的聖誕節來臨月日曆掛飾，每一天放置一節有關基督誕生的經文，小孩睡覺前我們都會讀上一節。由於經文太短，對小孩來說似乎很難懂。所以我決定變化一下。因為材料有限跟時間緊迫，我只能利用身邊的紙杯跟包裝紙製作成聖誕節來臨月日曆。
每天小孩都會輪流從紙杯中抽出一張紙條，紙條上有各種聖誕小活動，比如說讀有關聖誕節的經文、唱聖誕歌曲、看聖誕短片、分享基督對我們所做的榜樣，甚至可以拿到糖果跟小禮物。
Amira每天都提醒我一定要去執行這個活動，她十分喜歡，其他小孩最喜歡看短片，希望透過這樣簡單的小活動，加強他們對聖誕節的印象，跟代表的意義。
聖誕節對我們家來說，是十分重要的節日。我們可以藉由這個佳節來記得基督誕生對我們的重要意義，我們同時也可以更容易分享愛跟服務。我們不僅可以在聖誕節慶裡，表達對基督的愛。甚至在平日的生活裡，我們可以時時刻刻記得耶穌基督的愛，並且將耶穌基督的精神跟榜樣落實在生活裡。
