去英語支會聚會兩個月後,便被邀請分享個人見證。見證中引用許多高級英文，我這三踋貓英文，練了兩天總覺得說不順，經過祈禱跟聖靈的安慰，終於完成這次演講，演講當中，充滿聖靈。感到十分平安。想要把見證留下來，也許有一天，再回來看這篇見證時候，我能夠依舊強而有力，爲神做見證。

This is my first time sharing my testimony in English. It was wonderful, I felt the spirit strongly. I know some words I could not sound out well. But there were a lot of good feelings about my talk. I know God helped me and those who listened to my talk could feel the spirit as well. That was a blessing for me.
I'm posting this talk because I want to remind myself, I can do anything. and I will go and do the things which God hath commanded. (My talk at 2013 11.17 in Taipei 7th ward)

From Elder D. Todd Christofferson of the quorum of the Twelve Apostles
When I was 23, I just graduated from university and I was not
sure of what kind of life I could have and what kind of job I should get. I
wasn’t a member, But I remember wanting to be a rich and successful woman which
was what I had be taught that a woman should be. I was confused about my life, somehow in my
heart, I felt that God existed. I cried for help, and it was not too long after when I got it, two
elders came to my house, they knocked my door. I opened the door and open my
heart to receive the gospel, it was a wonderful blessing.
In the 2000 general conference from the talk “Joy of womanhood”
by Margaret Nadauld of the Young women’s
general presidency, she said”
I was inspired by the lives for good and faithful women. God sent to earth with some qualities in
extra capacity. In speaking to young women, President Faust observed that femininity
“is the divine adornment of humanity. It finds expression in your…capacity to
love, your spirituality, delicacy, radiance, sensitivity, creativity, charm,
graciousness, gentleness, dignity, and quiet strength. It is manifest
differently in each girl or woman, but each …possesses it. Femininity is part
of your inner beauty”
I was truly seeing wonderful women in the church. I was inspired
by them. My eyes were opened, I had a stronger desired to being a good daughter
to our heavenly Father. In these years, I grew up a lot, I gained different
skills and examples from wonderful women.
From this last general conference Elder D. Todd
Christofferson said
What I mean to say is that whether you are single or married
, whether you have born children or not, whether you are
old , young, or in between, your moral authority is vital.
However identity of womanhood has changed through the world.
Womanhood has become Confusing and shaken.
Therefore Elder Christofferson gave us three warnings, because
there are some trends and forces at work that would weaken and even eliminate womanhood’s
influence, to the great detriment for individuals, families, and societies at
large.
“A pernicious philosophy that undermines women’s moral
influence is the devaluation of marriage and of motherhood and homemaking as a
career. We do not diminish the value of what
women or men achieve in any worthy endeavor or career –we all benefit from
those achievements-but we still recognize there something of money, authority,
or public acclaim can exceed the ultimate rewards of family, whatever else a
woman may accomplish , her moral influence is no more optimally employed than
here.
There are a lot women that work
and take care of children at the same time. I have four kids , most the time I
hear people it must be a big Challenge and how I am so brave. Some mothers tell
me that they can’t even one kid. But as I know most mothers have to work, they
have no time to only take care of children. I know some women have to work because
their families need help.
Margaret D. Nadauld Young women’s General president in 2000 said “when you observe kind and gentle mothers
in action, you see women of great strength , Their family can feel a spirit of
love and respect and safety when they
are near her as she seeks the companionship of the Holy Ghost and the guidance
of his Spirit. They are blessed by her wisdom and good judgment. The husbands
and children, whose lives they bless will contribute to the stability of societies all over the world.
I know I can help my children develop skills that they can
use in serving others. I know it is absolutely worth the sacrifice of personal
time and pleasures.
I also know there are a lot wonderful women in the church ,
they choose stay home to take care of their kids. Some can even have good
career. But they chose the best way to “give their family warmth and a loving
house”.
The present subject of “human sexuality“ threatens the moral authority of women. Women
in the past were the moral standard. Men were required to commit themselves
before knowing a woman. But now days men
have been liberated and women and children suffer. We women must stand strong.
Elder Christoffersan said “Abortion for personal or social convenience
strikes at the heart of a woman’s most scared powers and destroys their moral
authority. The same is true of sexual immorality and of revealing dress that
not only debases women but reinforces the lie that a woman’s sexuality is what
defines her worth.
Our outward appearance is a reflection of what we are on the
inside. If we truly seek to know the savior and to be more like Him. We should
know “if any man defiles the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for is the
temple in Heaven. For they know He loves them dearly”.
We need to guard our bodies carefully, and reverence life. We shouldn't uncover our bodies to find favor with the world.
The third warning is about “Gender Equality” but the ideas
push women to become more aggressive, tough, and confrontational.
Sister Nadauld also taught “The world has enough women who
are tough ; we need women who are tender. There are enough women who are
coarse; we need women who are kind. There are enough women who are rude; we
need women who are refined. We have enough women of fame and fortune; we need
more women of faith. We have enough greed; we need more goodness. We have enough vanity; we need more virtue. We
have enough popularity; we need more purity.
I know we are daughters
of God. We have been taught to be righteous so that we can fulfill our life’s mission
and his purpose. He want us to be successful
, and he will help us as we seek his help.
