Mind Mapping 心智圖

I heard about Mind Mapping a long time ago. Today we spent some time practice. The kids picked some interesting words like Nutritional Facts and Epidemic. At the beginning the kids did not really understand what we were trying to teach them. But when we let the kids pick their own subjects they started to have fun.We used 5W1H, to help them think and write down all answers.
We just did the first level and discussed it, but had a good time practicing with the kids. Now they know more new words. Every morning they will  read through all the words that they wrote down. Just after a few days, they'll be able to remember all the words. 
It helps them with their English.

我們今天練習心智圖,很久以前就想嘗試看看,剛開始只有討論單一W,來跟小孩做練習(What)。接下來我們跟小孩一起練習5W1H, 在這當中小孩思考跟練習,慢慢引起興趣。接下他們選了最近學的單字,各別完成了第一層的5W1H。
我原意要做這個,除了要小孩練習思考外,我也希望藉此活動來找出新單字,
讓他們每天早上可以唸一遍這些英文單字,很快地,他們就可以背完單字了。
這個同樣適用於國字部分,應該非常適合作文練習,或是單字造句跟造詞練習。
或其科目都可以做同樣的練習,也可作為策劃家庭活動,家庭開銷表或是生活目標設立...。

單一提問:你認什麼是星期三?

婚禮、愛是中間主題圖案,因為星期三Wednesday 跟Wedding 有同樣開始的發音
加上我跟我先生是星期三結婚的
Amira寫下週三是圖書館日
Benicia則認為星期三是冰淇淋
我認為星期三是晴朗天氣,因為想要有好的天氣過生日
Pieter畫了一隻駱駝,寫“Hump Day",因為是一週的中間

小孩跟我們一起討論,以繪圖跟寫下單字表達想法
