One of our family traditional activities is making rice dumplings (Zhongzi). This time I invited two sisters from church, we made zhongzi together. For my friends, it was interesting and a new experience to make zhongzi. And my kids they kind of helped making the zhongzi, they were more interested in hanging out with their friends. Well I had a good time with my new friends. The zhongzi turned out good too.
每年我一定會跟小孩包粽子，今年雖然遠離家鄉，但是這項家庭傳統依舊延續。因為每年包粽子，口味越來越會掌握，今年我還放培根，沒想到受到大人們的喜愛，果然要迎合這些外國人口味，才能打開這些愛挑食的阿豆仔的味蕾。
這次邀請兩位姐妹來我家，他們跟我一樣都是來自其他國家，我們都說雙語，共同語言是英文，看著這兩位姐妹包粽子，滿有意思的，一個很快上手，一個手快打結了。小孩就是走馬看花，一下子摸下竹葉，一下爬上桌，就是不見他們完成一個粽子。看著他們忙著跟其他小孩玩就無法專心包粽子了，不過他們都懂我的用心。將來孩子長大會記得我給他們準備的粽子！端午節快樂！
